AMEC will be returning to Peck Lake this weekend for our second race of 2026. This weekends registration options will include an unscored, no contact, 20/20 exhibition heat. 20 minutes for 20 dollars with no club membership required; its a great way for anyone new to ice racing to get out on the ice.
A reminder to anyone registering for scored racing for the first time this year, prior to event registration, valid 2026 AMEC membership is required and can be completed here. Before requesting a car number, please review currently reserved numbers here.
A reminder to all racers, it is your responsibility to read the 2026 rule book before participating in an event. Not much has changed in the past few years, but it has also been several years with little or no club racing and memories get rusty just like race cars. It is each driver’s responsibility to come to the event understanding the requirements, rules, and restrictions of his or her car class AND the race day procedures.
A reminder and update regarding the event site: Peck Lake is private property and we are granted access by the Peck family. The Peck family was very happy with how AMEC conducted ourselves for the first race this season. Please continue to treat their home with respect. This means no speeding on the roads leading to the lake, and keeping the area clean of trash, chemicals, leaks or spills. For this next race, the Peck family has asked that access to the lake be limited to AMEC participants, crew, and volunteers. With this in mind, we plan to staff the access ramp with the club insurance waiver for everyone to sign before entering the lake.
As always, AMEC racing is made possible through the work and time donated by a large number of talented and committed volunteers. For this weekend, we could use additional help staffing the club wavier post over the course of the day so that no one member has to spend much time away from the action.
