Hey all,
Thanks to all the workers that come out today, we will be out on Lake Luzerne tomorrow morning. As there is a good amount of snow coming down and more to plow tomorrow, aim to arrive around 8-8:30 in the morning with a drivers meeting around 9:30. We will loosely be following the schedule in our rules (screenshot included below). If you have not gone through annual tech yet this year you will need to do so. If you purchased spill pillows or stickers they will be available at the dark blue F-250 with a black camper cap.
Some specifics for Lake Luzerne: We will be a part of the Lake George Winter Carnival so expect a good number of spectators to be around. As always participants will be parking on the ice entering from the Wayside Beach. The parking lot at the top of the boat launch will be reserved for Emergency Services, parking for spectators will be available at Hadley-Luzerne Junior/Senior High School. Overnight we are also welcome to park trailers there. There is an island that is on the lake that you should not enter, there is a sign claiming there are fines for doing so. We will have bathrooms on the land and might have food providers there, otherwise there are several food options close to the lake. We are planning on gathering after racing for dinner on Saturday evening, we will be doing a poll during the drivers meeting to get an idea of how many people to expect.
For those participating in the 20/20 we will be going out around 12:50 PM ET. Last event we were running around 30 minutes late so please keep an eye out for when the Open and SLM cars are in grid, if you are not familiar with our race classes the group before them will have cars that all start with 3XX or 4XX. We will have a mini drivers meeting and talk about expectations before you head out.
